Forbidden Stories employs 20 people in several departments (editorial, SafeBox, communications, administration and finance) and has SafeBox Network correspondants in various countries. The organization has a seven-member Board of Directors.

Forbidden Stories has a network of local correspondents who coordinate the SafeBox network in their geographical area. The identity and location of the francophone correspondent based in Africa are kept confidential for security reasons related to the local context.
